How to Use Cayenne Pepper for Weight Loss

ll1Does cayenne promote weight loss? Do you have any digestive conditions? What is the best way to take cayenne?

Hi this is Doreen Spackman with Live Your Life Naturally, I have used cayenne for years and love it for many reasons…It is used for culinary and medicinal purposes.  We could really visit about the wonderful benefits of cayenne for hours but I will try to stick to cayenne and how it works with our body for weight loss or as I like to call it health management.

Cayenne is the best stimulant there is which is wonderful since many people have digestive conditions that also interfere with breaking their food down and actually assimilating the nutrients. Cayenne comes to the rescue! you can take it in capsules but I find it best to drink it.. in what I call a digestion drink. This is easy to make and often people will drink this before each meal. This is important because your first digestive bowl is your mouth and the moment you drink it, it promotes saliva in your mouth to send the signal to your stomach saying…“to wake up” and get ready we’ve got food coming.

ll2Cayenne stimulates the peristaltic motions of the intestines so it helps rebuild the tissue in the stomach and aids in the assimilation of nutrients it’s not only rich in Vitamin C, A, and B, it’s also a wonderful source of vitamin E …and it helps to speed up the absorption of vitamin C and D. I have a series of classes that I teach, and the digestion drink is in the very first one when they come to class 2 I ask about their successes... and their comments align directly with what cayenne does. They had more energy, they were eliminating easier, they had a decrease in appetite, it also helped overall in easier digestion. An added bonus for cayenne is that is also helps tone the tissues, it heals stomach ulcers and helps your whole circulatory system function better. Now this is just a few of the things that cayenne assists with and it doesn’t take a lot of it to work well. I start off with an eighth of a teaspoon and work up to 1 teaspoon depending on the individual.

ll3So when you drink your cayenne or digestion drink remember… your brain is a powerful thing so instead of saying “I’m drinking this to lose weight say “I’m drinking this to have better health," you can actually feel the difference as you say it.  It’s important to  feed your brain powerful positive thoughts.

Now even though cayenne will do wonderful things for a person’s health it’s important to realize that often people who are overweight  are lacking the necessary nutrients that the body needs to release the fat cells… so keep in mind to eat as much fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and seeds, in their whole state. It’s also very important to energize, I prefer the word energize to exercise but energize do something active whether it’s walking, riding a bike, swimming or just put on some good happy music and dance for a few minutes each of these things are so vitally important to do daily.
